Wallace family shoot with twins.....
Wow, what an awesome family photo shoot. We had so much fun. The twins where very active and the interaction between parents and children was so fantastic. Capturing the fun and love was exciting and such a pleasure. Fortunately the weather was perfect and the soft light made for some awesome images..... This was a two camera shoot with Dee and I snapping away at the same time to get the best shots. Working with twins was very interesting and challenging. They did not stay still for more than a minute and so the two camera approach worked very well... To book a family shoot, e-mail us at sgmproductions@gmail.com. We do not limit you to only a few images, we like to include as many as possible in our package and we edit all of them... You can click on the images for a larger view. Christelle & Johan's awesome engagement shoot
We took these awesome photos for Christelle and Johan in May 2012. They are getting married in January and we are doing their wedding video. Can't wait, its going to be awesome....Please let us know what you think. We also produced a short DVD that they are going to use as their invite. Working with this couple was fantastic and we loved every minute of it. What was supposed to be a 2 hour shoot turned into a little over 3 hours as we where just having so much fun. I think that you can see the result in the pics.... For us capturing the true spirit of the couple in a fun, natural and artistic way is paramount. The best thing for us was their reaction as they where ecstatic with the results. Kettle-Caddy portraits
These are some portrait shots that we did last year for Kettle-Caddy Pizza Oven. Being an outdoor product we decided to take the portraits outside. The day was really looking bleak with intermittent rain but we managed to take the portrait shots as well as shoot the promotional video of their brilliant product. We used a 50mm prime lens and Nikon Camera to capture the shots using natural light which was defused thanks to the cloud cover.
Candice and Hannah
I love these two candid shots of Candice with her father behind her and of her beautiful daughter Hannah. I used off camera flash and a Gary Fong defuser. This gives the images more depth.... I dislike flat looking images intensely. Part of my style as a photographer is to try to capture the World as our eyes really see it, 3 dimensionally which is no tall order when you are dealing with what is essentially a 2D medium. Capturing "moments" of natural interaction is the next thing that I strive for in every picture....
Self portraits
Self portraits using studio lighting... This was using a 1 light set up shooting through a translucent umbrella and using a reflector on the other side to balance the shadows . This creates a lovely "clean image" ideal for corporate profile images and family portraits.....
