Candice and Sven's awesome engagement video shoot. We shot this video in full HD in two locations. We really love this engagement shoot and you can really see how much fun they had doing it.

New panoramic images

This panoramic image was stitched from 11 pictures taken with a 50mm prime lens in portrait orientation. This ensures a crisp image with loads of detail. I used Photoshop to stitch the image and then used curves adjustment layers and multiply layers to darken the sky...

 

This is an 8 image panorama. I used a curves adjustment layer, a multiply layer to darken the sky and a soft light adjustment layer to bring out contrast in the sand.

We filmed Natashe and Morne's Wedding in March at Bakehhof Wine Estate. Here are a few of the pics that I took in between the filming. This was another very emotional wedding. It was such a privilege to do this wedding....

Stacey and Henri's wedding

We did the video for Stacey and Henri Ferreira's  Wedding on the 31 March 2012 at Neethlingshof near Stellenbosh. These are some of the photo's that I took in between the filming... It was a beautiful and very emotional wedding. We wish Stacy and Henri all the best for the future and God Bless you.....

 

We did a family photo shoot with the Van Wyk family on the 1st of April and I thought that I would share some of the pictures. I will post more later. Let us know what you think.

Introduction to SGM Productions

Hi there. My name is Sean Mills and I am a professional photographer and videographer based in Cape Town, South Africa. I really love capturing people and nature in photographs as well as in moving pictures. My Wife Dee and myself run our business from Durbanville. We both do photography and Videography which enables us to get multiple angles at weddings, family shoots etc.

The approach to both is similar in technical terms, both video and still cameras have apertures, shutter speed and ISO etc... but the successful application of a still photo is very different to video. I love the differences. There is a real feeling of satisfaction in spotting a new angle or subject and capturing it in a  creative way.... I love spontaneous, natural images of people. Living in Cape Town is fantastic as it is so beautiful here and there is something different around every corner.
